  • How do I book?

  • How much does Vacation Care cost?

    Additional costs: Excursion costs are additional, these costs are advertised in the program and will be added to your account.

  • Can I claim child care subsidies?

    Families need to register with the Family Assistance Office to be eligible to claim for subsidies including Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR). Futher information can be obtained by calling the Family Assistance Office on 13 61 50 between 8.00am to 8.00pm or going to www.humanservices.gov.au.

  • What is CCB and CCR?

    Child Care Benefit (CCB) is a payment from the Australian Government that is designed to assist parents, foster parents or grandparents with the cost of childcare. Child Care Rebate (CCR) is a payment from the Australian Government that is designed to assist working parents with the cost of childcare. If the parents meet the Australian Governments work study tests than parents can expect to receive a rebate of up to 50% of their 'out of pocket' childcare expenses. CCR is not currently means tested.

  • How do I pay my account?

    Invoices are issued at the end of each week and upon the completion of the Vacation Care program. Fees are required to be paid within seven days of receiving an invoice. Payments can be made at Bathurst Regional Council, 158 Russell Street, at the Cashiers counter on the ground floor or over the phone by credit card on (02) 6333 6111.

  • What does my child need to bring?

    Children will need to bring a healthy morning tea, lunch and a clearly labeled drink container. Families are asked not to send in any food containing nuts. A nutritious afternoon tea will be provided.

  • What should they wear?

    Children should be dressed in comfortable clothes and enclosed footwear. Aprons are provided for craft activities but children's clothes may still be messy. A broad brimmed hat or bucket hat is required for outside activities. All clothing must be clearly labelled. SPF 30+ broad spectrum sunscreen will be provided to children throughout the day.
